As a kid, I used to draw my hand just because I had some friends who were taking drawing lessons and they were drawing hands as a homework. I remember starting to draw a hand from a certain finger (like a thumb) and followed on to other fingers. The result was usually a distorted hand, out of correct proportion.
Yesterday I learned about angles, or how to see objects through the frame of angles. After the lesson, suddenly I could see the world full of angles everywhere!
So while watching Yankees vs Mets baseball game, I started to draw my left hand with a soft pencil. I approached the hand from angles’ point of view. Drew various angles first, and then filled the spaces between the angles.
Surprisingly, I got a drawing that kinda looks like a hand!
