I visited the historic Wrigley Field in Chicago (home of the Cubs) a couple of weeks ago. In the baseball park, it is always fun to watch a day turning into night in the middle of the game.
I drew the day and night of the Wrigley Field in four tones with 6B pencil, for fun! Started with two outlines (day+night,) numbered the spaces, and filled them with a pencil according to the numbers.

I visited Johnson Space Center in Houston recently. There were mock-up (retired) Space Shuttle and the real Boeing 747 (airplane) that used to carry space shuttle to its home when it returned from the trip. I was surprised because it was such an interesting way to move the Shuttle around (across the US apparently) and the Space Shuttle looked smaller than I thought. Surely I should do more research on the details.

***I drew this from a cool drawing (picture?) that was hanging in the Space Center.

On the trip to New Orleans, I took about a half day to visit famous plantations. I went with a tour to Laura’s Plantation and Oak Alley Plantation. Did a quick sketch on site and added more details later at hotel.

New Orleans is the city that invented JAZZ. Yesterday, I stopped by Madison Jazz Bar where Smoking Time Jazz Club was playing.
It was dark and I already finished two glasses of cocktail so I drew some of the points obviously wrong. Nevertheless this drawing is special to me because it is the first one that strangers sitting next (the drinkers of two glasses in the drawing) told me it was very good.
How can I not love NOLA!
